Thanks for taking a few moments to learn about our Sunday Worship Services.  Both Jennings Chapel and Poplar Springs UMC are famlily friendly churches in western Howard County, MD.  Both churches have been around for more than 100 years and celebrate a rich hertiage of faithful members.  Some of our families have attended for several generations!

Both churches reflect the casual rural atmosphere of our community.  We believe that the worship of our Lord Jesus should be a serious thing, but not so serious that we can't laugh at ourselves along the way when things don't go exactly as planned.  

Sunday Services are fairly traditional in nature and will be comfortable to most visitors.  We enjoy worshipping with the organ and piano, and add in other musical instruments as the Lord provides.  Our goal is to provide a way for the members of the congregation to worship God, through song, instrument, prayer, scripture, and any other means we can.  Everything we do is written in the bulletin, so you'll know what's going on the whole time. Jennings Chapel offers a sign language interpreter for most Sunday Services and special events.
