Welcome to the Youth Ministry page for the Poplar Springs United Methodist Charge. The parents and church family also help support the youth group is various ways. This Fall we are beginning a youth mentoring program which pairs each teenager with an adult in our church.  We hope this will be a way for students to grow in their faith and get to know some other members of the congregation!

Our youth group is for youth entering grades 6-12.  During the school year our youth group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm.  In the Fall of 2008 we will be meeting at Poplar Springs UMC.  We hang out outside and play casual games of football, basketball, badminton, or whatever the youth are interested in.  Inside we have other games and a place to relax and eat snacks while catching up on life.    After our gathering time we have a Bible lesson/discussion and some prayer time.
